Morst\u00f8l denne uken holdt innlegg p\u00e5 Ministerkonferansen i Nova Scotia, Canada.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-maritech-text__inner\">\n<p>Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister\u2019s Conference samlet i \u00e5r 800 deltakere fra hele verden. Konferansen og satte s\u00f8kelyset p\u00e5 hvordan markedet, FoU\u00a0og tilgang p\u00e5 arbeidskraft p\u00e5virker kvaliteten p\u00e5 sj\u00f8maten fra Nova Scotia. Arrangementets form\u00e5l er \u00e5 bidra til innovasjon og \u00f8kt verdiskapning i sj\u00f8matn\u00e6ringen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&laquo;Mye av innholdet og diskusjonene i \u00e5r var knyttet til sporing, analytics og forvaltning av data. Dette er ogs\u00e5 noen av Maritechs aller viktigste fokusomr\u00e5der,&raquo; forteller Morst\u00f8l. Onsdag holdt hun foredraget\u00a0<strong>Global Technology Trends and\u202fthe Direct\u202fImpact\u202fon\u202fQuality<\/strong>\u200b, hvor digitalisering og sporbarhet var gjennomgangstemaer. Blant eksemplene var kongekrabbene som serveres p\u00e5 hotellet Grand Hyatt i Dubai. Krabbene sendes fra Norge med en\u00a0QR-kode, som gjesten f\u00e5r servert sammen med m\u00e5ltidet. &laquo;Gjennom \u00e5 scanne denne, f\u00e5r vedkommende frem informasjon om hvem som har fisket krabben, og n\u00e5r det skjedde. Det g\u00e5r ogs\u00e5 an \u00e5 se en video av fiskeren, der hun\/han forteller om seg selv og sin erfaring fra n\u00e6ringen. Dette gir trygghet og en fin historiefortelling til den som skal kose seg med en flott middag. Videre styrker det merkevaren til b\u00e5de leverand\u00f8ren og Norge som sj\u00f8matnasjon.&raquo;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&laquo;Internet of Things (IoT) og maskinl\u00e6ring er blant trendene som representerer st\u00f8rst potensial for n\u00e6ringen,&raquo; sier Morst\u00f8l.  &laquo;Innenfor sensorikk og bildeteknologi er det eksempelvis enormt mye \u00e5 hente. B\u00e5de med hensyn til effektivisering, kvalitet og verdiskapning. Samtidig er fagfeltene omfattende og utviklingen g\u00e5r lynraskt. Derfor opplever vi det er sv\u00e6rt viktig \u00e5 synliggj\u00f8re og konkretisere. Slik kan flest mulig relatere seg til handlingsrommet og mulighetene knyttet til ny teknologi. Selskaper fra hele verdikjeden kan n\u00e5 nyttiggj\u00f8re seg av avanserte verkt\u00f8y for styring, kontroll og analyse. Man kan forholde seg til fakta i stedet for \u00e5 m\u00e5tte stole p\u00e5 antakelser.
