Maritech announces Janne T. Morstøl as CEO to lead the company through next phase of growth.

Maritech is today delighted to announce that Janne T. Morstøl has been appointed as new CEO of Maritech, effective February 1st, 2017.

Janne T. Morstøl’s extensive background includes former Chief Strategy Officer at Nevion, a global company providing products and solutions for media transport. In late 2012, Nevion merged with T-VIPS, a company Ms. Morstøl co-founded in 2004 and where she served as COO/CFO. Ms. Morstøl has broad experience in developing global technology enterprises and has served as a board member for a number of listed Norwegian companies.

This addition to Maritech’s leadership team follows a year of steady growth marked by the acquisition of Wise Dynamics Ltd. in Canada and the opening of a new US-based location in Seattle.

Maritech opens US office

Maritech expands global presence with opening of US office.

The Seattle office marks the next phase of Maritech’s continued resolve to have a local presence in the areas and regions where their customers trade and do business, partnering with them to meet the global challenges that characterize the intricate seafood and aquaculture sector.

Integral to the success of the new location is Trond Ringstad, who is heading up the effort as Sales Manager, US operations. Trond brings to the task a wealth of seafood sector experience, both as a former COO for Ocean to Ocean Inc. and founder and former President of Pacific Supreme Seafood Inc. Mr. Ringstad has also held the positions of VP Marketing & Sales for North America of Royal Supreme Seafoods and for Bering Pacific Seafoods. Maritech is delighted to have Trond Ringstad join our team. His experience & expertise will be invaluable as we introduce our products and services to new markets.
