Maritech Purchase & Sales and Packing

“Maritech is going to speed up the whole backline, as well as invoices, delivery notes, and everything that goes with it.” – Christo Palleis, CEO Matorka

Matorka went live on Maritech Cloud in March 2024 after months of uncertainty due to the volcanic eruption.

They had to relocate from Grindavik and start in a new location (are temporarly in Hafnarfjördur). We helped them get back on track at their new location and managed to go live just a few weeks after the planned go-live.

“We see the technology as a key part of unlocking all the benefits of automation and digitalization in the processing plant, but also for traceability and as a significant part of food safety going forward.” – Christo Palleis, CEO, Matorka.

Unlocking automation and digitalization

— The current project with Maritech is phase one of what we see as several phases making use of their technology. We see the technology as a key part of unlocking all the benefits of automation and digitalization in the processing plant, but also for traceability and as a significant part of food safety going forward.

Matorka has implemented our cloud software Maritech Purchase & Sales in combination with Maritech Packing, integrated with dk Business Solutions.

Speeds up our processes

— We decided to implement the Maritech system because some of our staff had previous experience with it and had very positive things to say. We have graders and other equipment in the plant that we want to connect to the system, and then also importantly for us, it’s going to speed up the whole backline, as well as invoices, delivery notes, and everything that goes with it, finishes Palleis.

We are very pleased to work with Matorka and they have really shown resilience and grit during challenging times. They are an innovative, highly quality-focused company producing premium products, sustainably farmed.

We are looking forward to supporting their future growth!
